Description
Turned from 1/2 inch brass bar out of a brass mill in Waterbury, Connecticut, then deburred, tumbled and assembled here. The barrel measures 4.6 inches capped and 0.44 across, with a single bead cut at the cap line so the cap seats on friction and stays seated in a pocket. It weighs 1.1 ounces, which is enough to keep it from wandering across a sloped table. The refill is a standard pressurised cartridge sold in any hardware aisle, and it writes cold and overhead. The finish is brushed and left bare. Expect brown inside a week and darker in the knurl by the month. Fine steel wool takes it back to bright if you want it bright.
