Cartogram Map Case — II

Description

Bigger than the sleeve and built to hold more than a map. A one-inch leather gusset runs the sides, which lets the case take a folded sheet, a notebook and a pencil at once without forcing the flap open. The interior is 13 by 9.5 inches, split by a stitched canvas divider, with a card slot on the front wall. The flap closes on a brass buckle over a latigo billet, so the closure adjusts as the load changes through the day. A 48 inch bridle strap is included and comes off at the brass swivel snaps. Olive wax on the duck against tan leather that will darken past it within one summer. Re-wax yearly and keep oil off the stitching.
