Description
The smallest book in the line, cut to 3.5 by 5.5 inches so it clears a shirt pocket without folding over. The cover is 10 oz cotton duck from a mill in Rockingham, North Carolina, hot-waxed in our Albuquerque workshop until it takes a crease and holds it. Inside are 64 ruled pages of 70 lb uncoated paper that stays workable under a pencil when the air is cold and dry. One signature, saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread through three holes, so the book opens flat on a tailgate and stays there. No closure and no pocket. Rub the cover with a wax bar when the corners go pale and the finish comes back.
