Description
A step up in page count and a different job. The trim is 4 by 6 inches, two signatures sewn into one spine, 96 pages laid out in a 5 mm dot grid rather than lines, which suits a sketched route or a column of figures. The cover is the same Rockingham duck taken to an olive wax that darkens where a thumb rides. A flat cotton tape sewn into the back cover wraps the book and tucks under itself, so it will not spring open in a pack. Corners are cut round on the die to stop them curling. When it dries out, re-wax the spine first; that is where the wear lands.
