Description
The small bowl in the line, the one that ends up carrying olives, salsa or a single salad. It is thrown to 6.5 in. across and 2.5 in. deep, holds twenty fluid ounces to the shoulder, and weighs a bit over a pound empty, which is enough to keep it from sliding when a spoon works the side. The matte sand glaze is the same one used on the first salt cellar, brushed to the outside of the foot and left raw underneath so the bare clay grips a wooden board. Fired to cone 6, so it is vitrified and will not take on the smell of whatever sat in it overnight. Dishwasher, microwave and oven to 400°F are all fine. Ships in 0–2 business days.
