Description
Built for the table rather than the stove, and large enough that it does not need topping up mid-meal. Only the inside is glazed, in a speckled oatmeal that shows iron flecks pulled through by the firing. The outside is left as bare fired clay and sanded smooth, so it takes a grip even with wet hands and darkens slowly around the spot people pick it up. It measures 4 in. across and 2.75 in. tall and holds about ten ounces. The lid is turned walnut with a raised knob, cut to sit proud of the rim so it can be lifted without looking. Wash the stoneware however you like. Dry the lid by hand and oil it twice a year. Ships in 0–2 business days.
