Description
Four pieces at 28 inches: poker, shovel, tongs and brush. The bar stock is heavier than the three-piece set and each grip carries a hand-twisted section that gives a wet glove something to hold on to. The finish is oiled steel left dark from the forge, with harness leather wrapping stitched at every handle. It hangs from a leather wall strap set with solid brass rivets, which ships with the set. The four pieces together weigh 6 pounds 8 ounces, and the tongs open to 5 inches, enough to lift a split log. Wipe the steel after use and oil it when it starts to look grey. Keep the leather back from the flame; it scorches long before the steel minds.
