One size up, and set for longer evenings. The font takes 20 ounces of lamp oil and burns near twenty-two hours on a 5/8 inch flat wick, which gives a wider and softer light than the small one. Steel is blued here rather than tinned, a dark grey-blue that reads almost black after dark and wants a thin wipe of oil now and then to stay ahead of rust. Filler cap and wick wheel are solid brass, so the two parts handled most are the two that will not seize. It stands 13 inches to the bail. Globe and wick are stock sizes. Keep the wick trimmed level, fill it outdoors, and store it empty over the summer. Ships from Albuquerque inside two business days, USPS or UPS.
