Description
The small folding one. It is spun from solid brass sheet with no plating, so it starts yellow and goes brown over a season of handling. The borosilicate glass sleeve drops down inside the body when you collapse it: 4 1/2 inches shut, 8 inches standing, 2 1/2 inches across. It burns the short 7/8 inch candle sold in any hardware aisle, and a spring in the base pushes the candle up as it goes. A wire bail hangs it off a ridge line or a nail. The vent holes are punched and rolled rather than drilled, so there is no burr to catch a thumb. Clean soot off the glass with newspaper. Polish the brass or leave it; both are correct. Ships within two business days of the order landing, by USPS or UPS.
