Description

The blanket carries this one. It is loomed at 66 by 88 inches in banded Rio Grande patterning, indigo and rust on undyed cream, heavy enough that you notice lifting it off the shelf and warm when it is damp. The lantern is solid brass, square-bodied and hand-planished, with a vented chimney and a polished back panel that throws light at a wall instead of a ceiling. The valet tray is vegetable-tanned leather, wet-formed over a block and corner-stitched to stand eight inches square with a two-inch wall, for keys and a watch. A 1.5-inch harness belt goes in the same box. Wash the wool cold, dry it flat, never hang it wet.
