Description
This one is built around the press. Its carafe is double-walled stainless with a turned walnut collar and a mesh plunger that unscrews into three parts for washing. Thirty-two ounces, or four cups poured honestly. The kettle steps up to 1.5 quarts in cream speckle with a cobalt rim, and the four mugs hold 10 ounces apiece in the same cream. They stack. The case is heavier waxed duck than the roll version, flat-bottomed, closed with three brass snaps and sized to sit upright in a milk crate. The brass snaps go brown within a month. Hand wash the carafe and let the plunger dry apart.
