Description
Built for cooking with a lid on. The camp oven holds six quarts, stands on three short legs and takes coals on a flat, flanged lid; the wire bail is heavy enough to hang from a tripod. The skillet is the deep twelve-inch pattern, two and a half inches at the wall, which keeps oil in the pan. Both ship seasoned. The lid lifter is a steel hook with a saddle leather grip, long enough to keep a wrist out of the heat. The blanket is our heaviest here, 66 by 88 inches, a hand under it and you feel the weight. Season the oven again after anything acidic.
