Three lights instead of one. This is a slab cut lengthwise from a juniper log, 10 1/2 inches long and about 3 1/2 inches across, with one edge left as the tree grew it and the other planed straight. Three machined brass cups are let in at staggered depths, so the tapers stand at three heights along the run. The underside is flattened and padded with cork. It takes standard 7/8 inch tapers. Finish is oil first and wax over the top, which is why the slab reads darker than the turned pieces. Scrape wax off cold with a plastic edge. Re-oil the end grain once or twice a year, when it starts to look thirsty. We pack it here and it goes out inside two business days.
