Description
The largest tote we stock, built so the load hangs from leather rather than from stitching. Two bridle straps run the full height of the bag, under the base and back up the other face, so the weight travels through hide the whole way. Eighteen-ounce duck in charcoal. Nineteen by fifteen by seven inches, near 30 liters. A brass toggle and a leather loop close the mouth, and a slip pocket sits on each outside face. Cotton drill lining. Bridle leather is stiff at first and stays stiff longer than most hide, which is exactly why it holds a shape. Sponge it clean, dress the straps when they look dry, wax the cloth once a year.
