Description
One size up from the first musette and cut deeper, so a folded jacket goes in without forcing the flap. The shell is waxed duck in slate, lined in cotton drill to keep grit away from whatever you are carrying. Thirteen by eleven by four inches, roughly 8 liters. A slash pocket across the front takes keys and a phone without opening the main flap. The strap is latigo, an inch and a half wide, running on a brass roller buckle that holds its setting under load. Every anchor point is bar-tacked. Latigo darkens fast where it rides the shoulder. Keep the canvas out of a washing machine, and wax the creases when they turn gray.
