Description
Third size up: 3 1/4 inches, 2.4 ounces, with a 1/2 inch gate that swallows a doubled leather strap or a tote handle. The stock is heavier through the spine than the two smaller sizes, so it does not flex when the load hangs off-centre. We polish these on a wheel by hand and stop at bright rather than mirror, and the forming marks stay faintly visible across the back of the curve. A bright finish shows the first fingerprints inside a day and browns fastest of the four. A minute with polish returns it. The stainless gate spring can be replaced if it ever tires.
