Description
The AA version, 3 7/8 inches and 3.6 ounces empty, sized so one alkaline or rechargeable cell sits in a body you can still forget in a front pocket. Twist the head to the first stop for roughly 15 lumens, which is right for close work over a long night; past the second stop it runs about 180 for finding a gate in the dark. The copper is tumbled in ceramic media rather than polished, leaving a soft matte grey-pink that takes fingerprints without showing them. A removable stainless clip holds it bezel-down in a pocket or up on a cap brim. The lens is toughened glass rather than plastic and wipes clean on a shirt tail without hazing.
