Eighteen by twelve by seven inches, roughly 20 liters. A buckled front pocket takes gloves and a folded map without opening the main body. The shoulder straps are bridle leather from a small tannery in Curwensville, Pennsylvania, adjusted on brass sliders that do not creep once set. Cut, sewn and finished in Albuquerque. Leather straps stay stiff for a week or so and then take the line of your shoulders. Wipe the cloth, oil the base panel lightly when it grays, and keep the whole bag out of a dryer.
