Description
The smallest pack in the line and the plainest. Fourteen-ounce duck in field tan closes with a cotton drawstring under a flap held by two leather tabs and brass roller buckles. Seventeen by eleven by six inches, about 16 liters, which is a day out with a jacket, water and lunch. Shoulder straps are inch-and-a-half cotton webbing on leather sliders, and the back panel is one unbroken piece, so there is no seam ridge under a loaded pack. Bar-tacked at every anchor. It will crease hard across the flap in the first two weeks and then stop moving. Brush it down, spot-clean cold, re-wax where the color goes chalky.
