Description
The top of the line, and the only one we build from burl. Burl mesquite is the knot end of the offcut, figured in swirls and voids that are filled with black resin and stabilised under pressure, so no two handles come out alike. The blade runs 3 3/4 inches in CPM-154, full flat ground with a false edge along the top third and hand-rubbed lengthwise to a soft satin that shows the grind lines. Closed length 5 inches, weight 6.7 ounces, stainless liners and a back-lock. It ships in a vegetable-tanned belt sheath with a burnished edge and a brass snap. The sheath starts pale and stiff; a week on a belt sorts out both.
