Description
Built to run two books at once, one for notes and one for everything else, on separate cords either side of the spine. It fits the standard A5 trim, 5.8 by 8.3 inches, in chestnut-dyed 4 oz saddle leather. Inside the back there is a flat slip pocket for loose paper and receipts, and a sewn leather loop at the fore edge takes a pen up to half an inch across. Closed dimensions come to about 6.25 by 8.75 inches. The spine creases along its own line after a few weeks and then opens flat, which the pocket-size cover never quite manages. Refill with any notebook of the same trim. Condition the spine first, since that is where the leather works hardest.
