Description
Sized around the pocket notebook most people already carry, 3.5 by 5.5 inches, in undyed 4 oz saddle leather. Two elastic cords run through punched channels in the spine and hold the notebook by its own covers, so there is no glue and nothing that has to be replaced when the book is full. A third cord wraps the whole thing shut. Closed it comes to roughly 4 by 6 inches and adds about a quarter inch of thickness. Left natural, it starts pale straw and turns properly tan over a summer, faster on the side that rides against a shirt. Cords swap out for anything of the same diameter. Clear the grit before it works into the spine channels.
