Description

Six pounds of wool, and the most expensive thing in this category. The Nampa mill weaves it double-faced, two layers bound together on the loom, charcoal on one side and oatmeal on the other, so it can be turned over rather than replaced when one face starts to wear. The edges are turned and stitched rather than bound, because tape on cloth this thick makes a ridge you can feel. A harness leather carry strap with a solid brass roller buckle ships with it and takes the roll down to about a nine-inch bundle. 40 by 80 inches, 6 pounds. Keep the strap off the wool in storage. Brush, air, and cold soak by hand at most once a season.
