Description
A chair throw, woven at a family mill in Los Ojos, New Mexico, from single-ply wool spun in the same building. The banding is narrow here: three rust lines across a natural grey ground, spaced much wider apart than they are thick. Warp ends are hand-tied into a 3-inch fringe top and bottom, which is the traditional finish and the first thing to comb out if it tangles. 40 by 60 inches, 2 pounds even. This is a lap and armchair size, not a bed size. Spot clean where you can. For a full wash, use cold water and wool soap, do not wring it, and dry it flat with the fringe combed straight.
