Description
Wider and longer than the first Saddle, and finished for hanging rather than rolling. The cloth is a fulled twill from the same Nampa, Idaho mill, heavier again at 28 ounces to the yard, in an undyed grey-brown with one black stripe set six inches in from each end. Wool tape binds all four sides. Four harness leather tabs are riveted at the corners in solid brass, so it can go over a rail, a tailgate or a hook without putting a hole in the cloth. 36 by 72 inches, 5 pounds. Shake it hard; that is most of the cleaning it will ever want. Oil the tabs when they go pale. Cold soak and flat dry only if it is genuinely dirty.
