Description
Worked entirely in greys, which is harder than it sounds. The Belen mill blends four fleece shades from near-white to near-black and bands them light to dark from the centre outward. Nothing in it is dyed. The hem is a single fold stitched close to the edge, which carries less bulk than a bound edge when the blanket is folded across the end of a bed. 60 by 80 inches and 4 pounds, enough weight that it stays where you put it on a windy porch. Beat the dust out of it rather than washing it after a camp trip. When it needs more, cold water and mild wool soap, squeeze rather than wring, dry flat.
