Description
The full kit roll. Eight slots across 26 inches of 7 oz waxed leather, the widest cut to take a twelve-inch slicer or a cleaver, plus a stitched pocket at one end for a steel, a stone or a folding saw. Three straps with brass buckles, so the bundle keeps its shape whether it is full or half empty. Open it measures 26 by 10.5 inches, and it works as well for chisels or brushes as it does for knives. Rolled it comes to about 5 inches across and a little under three pounds empty. Heavy waxed leather turns more water resistant as handling moves the wax around. Leave it out of a hot vehicle in July, and dry it open if it is ever soaked.
