Description
Six graduated slots and a flap that folds down over the tips before the roll goes up, which is the difference between points staying covered and points finding their way out in a bag. Blades up to ten inches. The panel is 6 oz waxed leather, 20 by 9.5 inches open, and two straps with solid brass roller buckles hold it closed at a fixed diameter rather than however tight a tie happened to be pulled. Slots are stitched through a doubled backing, so thread is not the only thing between a spine and the outside. Rolled it is about 4 inches across and 10 long. Dry the blades before they go in. Leather and steel left damp together is how rust starts.
