Seven power over 35 mm, and the only pair here without a center wheel. Each eyepiece focuses on its own thread, which is slower to set and then holds through rain, cold and a bag full of other gear. Field is 7.1 degrees, roughly 373 feet at a thousand yards. The bodies are the same drawn steel as the 6×30, wrapped instead in tan latigo, a firmer and oilier hide that starts light and goes deep russet in a season of handling. Weight is 24 ounces, folded width 4.8 inches. A latigo neck strap and a flap case are included. The wrap can be re-oiled: a light coat, rubbed in, left overnight.
