Description
Fourteen-ounce waxed duck, thigh length, cut as a proper drover with a back gusset that opens when you sit and a deep vent below it. Body and sleeves are lined in wool flannel and the collar is heavy corduroy with a throat latch. Two flapped chest pockets, two bellows pockets at the hip, one inside pocket sized for a folded map. Brass hardware, a D-ring at the collar, felled and bar-tacked seams throughout. Waxed, cut and sewn in Albuquerque from Massachusetts mill cloth. It is the heaviest coat in the range and stiff for the first week of wear. Brush it, sponge cold, re-wax once a year if it lives outdoors. No washer, no dry cleaner, no heat.
