Description
The biggest of the three, and the one built to be loaded. Eighteen-ounce duck in olive with bridle leather caps stitched over all four bottom corners, where a bag set down on caliche wears through first. Fourteen by twelve by five inches, near 11 liters. The flap closes on two brass buckles rather than one, so a full bag pulls square instead of gapping at the corners. Inside, a divided sleeve holds a field notebook flat against the back panel. The strap is bridle leather, two inches across the shoulder. Sponge it clean and let it air dry. The hide takes a dressing once a season; the cloth takes wax when it lightens.
