Description

Second in the sighting line, and the one with a mirror. The lid carries polished glass with a vertical sight line scribed down it, so you hold the target in the notch and read the card in the reflection without moving your head. A small screw on the back sets declination against a brass scale and stays where it is set. The capsule is fluid-filled with a two-degree card, and the base plate carries straight-edge ruler marks for working off a folded quad sheet. The case is 55 mm, 2.4 by 2.4 inches closed, 8.2 ounces. Brass is left satin. Shut the lid before it goes in a pack, because the mirror is glass and not acrylic.
