The middle kit in the line, sized for a full week away rather than a night. Fourteen-ounce duck in olive drab, waxed at the mill and cut here, with boxed corners and a base wide enough that it will not tip when it is half empty. Ten and a half by six by five inches, roughly 5 liters. The liner is a coated cotton that wipes out after a spill, and two slip pockets on one wall hold a comb and a file upright instead of loose in the bottom. The zipper runs on nickel, the pull is latigo. Sponge the inside clean after a trip. Re-wax the outside about once a year, or whenever the folds turn gray.
