Description

A 10.5-ounce flannel heavy enough to wear as the outer layer over a shirt through most of a high-desert winter. The plaid is a two-colour overcheck on a dark ground, woven at the same Indiana mill and cut in Albuquerque with an extra half inch through the chest and upper arm to clear whatever is underneath. Twin flap pockets, the left one split for a pencil. Throat latch, felled seams and a doubled yoke across the shoulders. The cuffs take two buttons so they close over a watch. Wash cold and hang to dry rather than tumbling, since a dryer beats the nap flat at this weight. Press the placket damp and it lies down again.
