The heavier everyday strap. Eleven-ounce harness leather cut 1.5 inches wide and dyed a dark brown that goes close to black in the creases inside a year. The buckle is a stainless roller, which turns as the strap passes and saves the wear line a fixed bar grinds across a belt over time. At this width it will carry a knife sheath or a small pouch without folding over. Nine holes an inch apart, punched clean rather than slit. Edges are hand-bevelled on both faces, sanded through three grits and slicked with wax. Sizes 32 to 46 even. It arrives stiff and stays that way for a month, then takes the shape of how it is worn. Dust it; conditioner once a year at most.
