Description
The desk-sized one. Nine by six and a half inches, formed from 9 oz vegetable-tanned shoulder and split by a stitched partition into a long compartment for a phone or a notebook and a short one for keys and coins. Shoulder is denser than back leather and holds a moulded wall without slumping, which is most of why this tray costs what it does. Dyed walnut, then slicked at every edge so nothing frays. The wall stands about an inch and three quarters. It is heavy enough to stay where it is put and can mark a soft desk finish over time, so a felt pad under it is not a bad idea. Keep it out of direct afternoon sun.
