Description
Not a snap-together square. This one is soaked, pulled down over a wooden form and left to dry into shape, so the walls stand on their own and go on standing. Seven by seven inches across the base with a wall an inch and a half high, in 6 oz vegetable-tanned hide dyed a mid tan. Each corner is folded and saddle-stitched rather than cut away, which puts a visible seam at the four uprights and leaves the base one unbroken piece. Deep enough for a watch, a wallet and a handful of change at the end of a day. The formed shape is permanent unless it is soaked again, so keep it dry. Condition the outside once a year.
