Description
The slimmest case we make. One piece of 4 oz saddle leather from a tannery in Gloversville, New York, folded at the base so there is no seam under your cards. The two side seams are saddle-stitched by hand with waxed linen thread, and the edges are sanded, dampened and burnished with gum tragacanth rather than painted. Closed it measures 4 by 2.75 inches and sits about a quarter inch thick loaded. It holds six to eight cards, more once the leather relaxes to their shape. Undyed, so it will go from pale russet to a deep tan in a season of pocket carry. Wipe the grit off and work in a little conditioner once a year.
