Description
Three and a half quarts, the kettle you fill once and pour from all morning. The finish is deep navy speckle over a black ground with a black rim, and the bail carries a turned black walnut roll grip that stays cool enough to lift without a rag. The body is built tall rather than wide: 8.9 inches to the knob, 8.3 across the base, 2 pounds 14 ounces empty. Fire, gas and a two-burner all suit it. Hand wash and dry it warm. Rub the walnut grip with any food-safe oil once a season when it looks pale, and keep the grip out of direct flame while the kettle is on a grate.
