Description

The smallest Bunkhouse, and the one that travels. It is woven at a small mill in Burlington, North Carolina, from a 70/30 wool and cotton yarn that keeps the warmth of the wool and loses some of the weight. The ground is undyed oatmeal with two charcoal bands across each end. Edges are whipstitched in doubled cotton thread rather than bound, so there is no tape to fray loose. It measures 52 by 66 inches and weighs 2 pounds 6 ounces, which folds down to about the size of a rolled jacket on a pack. Shake it out after a trip. Wash cold by hand, press the water out without wringing, and dry it flat away from direct sun.
