Description

A plain cold-blast tubular lantern in tinned steel, with a clear drawn globe. The font holds 12 ounces of lamp oil and runs about fourteen hours at a working flame. It takes a 3/8 inch flat wick and a stock globe, both carried by any hardware shop, so nothing here can strand you a long way from home. Height is 10 1/2 inches to the top of the bail. The tin is left bright and will grey and spot through a wet season, which is the finish arriving rather than failing. Trim the wick square before each burn and do not let the font run dry.
